healthy diet? hi i was wondering if anyone had like a healthy diet plan sort of thing. i am not really unhealthy and not overweight, but my diet aint to good! (too many crips and chocolate cravings!) i also feel tired quite a lot (although im doing my gcse's so it might be that!) which i figured might mean im not healthy enough! so if youve got any usful tips or anything, thanks thanks evry1!

What is the least amount of fat you can eat in a healthy diet? I know your body needs some fats, but a lower fat diet is certainly healthiest. What is a low fat diet? I mean, going completely fat free is unhealthy, but eating 65 grams of fat (recommended for a 2,000 calorie diet) is not necessary. Is a healthy diet more important when you are young or when you are old? Are there any reliable studies on this issue? On the one hand, I can see how a healthy diet when you are young might set in motion some long term positvie health benefits. On the other hand, it may be the case that children's bodies are so efficient at squeezing the nutrition out of the foods that they eat that a child's poor diet may not have the detrimental effects that an older person's poor diet would. What is a healthy diet for weight loss? I have Asthma and have had it since I was a baby. It is hard to stay thin and fit when you are unable to be as physical as others. Healthy Diet? Hey everyone, When I brought my puppy home, she was eating Hills p/d (prescription diet) and my veterinarian told me to keep her on it until she was at least 6 months old. I'm pretty sure he only told me that because he sells that brand of food in his clinic. I was watching this show "Good Dog" the other day, the host is a fat guy, I think his name was Stanley Coren or something, and he was talking about healthy diets for dogs. He made a meal for this dog that contained porportions of cooked protein (chicken, beef, eggs, fish etc..), carbohydrates (rice, bread, or potatoes), and some vegetables (cooked carrots or broccoli). He also put in some vegetable oil and some powder looking s stuff that he said would give the dog "extra vitamins". I was wondering, is my puppy too young for a diet like this? She is 3 months old. I would think not as this seems much healthier then the smelly crud she is eating. Also do you know any good websites that will give me the exact recipe and proportions of a diet like this for a 10-15 pound dog? My dog is a miniature poodle and only weighs 5 pounds right now, but the breed generally weighs up to 10-15 pounds. Thank you!
Can you recommend a good diet thats healthy and not expensive? like a lot of women, i cannot take diet pills and want to lose weight the healthy way. i go to the gym regularly and cardio is the best! but i would also like to incorporate a good healthy diet to shed about 30 lbs and maintain it. i tried nutrisystem many years ago. it does work and results are quick, but extremely expensive @ about $70/wk. anybody that has tried a successful diet - i'd appreciate your tips and how much weight you lost. serious answers please

Im 16 years old, and im 119lbs..and 5 ft 7in..this is suppose to be a healthy weight for my height etc..but i started a healthy diet 6 days ago, and started to exercise, and because of my fast metabolism, ive lost 4lbs in 5 days..im happy with this result, but i woke up at half 7 this morning and had a few bites of a cereal bar for breakfast, then 4 hours later i suddenly felt really faint, and i started getting really hot and shaky, i had a piece of chocolate to make my blood pressure normal again, but now im wondering if anyone has any tips on how i can still tone up and eat healthily without feeling faint..and also why do i feel so guilty if i eat a mouthful more of food than i did the day before ? any suggestions ?..thanks

Healthy diet? I don't eat much, but what I eat isn't exactly healthy >_< For example today I had: Some breadsticks, Weight Watchers chocolate roll (86 calories), 2 big glasses of banana and frozen forest berries smoothie (which I made myself), half a hot dog, a snickers bar (regular size), 2 cups of tea, no sugar. Healthy Diet? Cheerleading season is HERE! and I have done nothing but gain weight. I need to start eating healthy. My biggest problem is breakfast. I know I am never suppose skip breakfast but I do... until now! The hardest obsticle is finding the right thing. I need to have it as a schedual. Is "Fibre 1" good?? Healthy diet? In a healthy diet, if on average they say you can have 2000 calories, 300g of carbohydrates and 65 grams of fat, is that in total? I mean; as carbohydrates and fats are just a more concentrated source of energy, e.g fats are worth 9 calories, if you were to eat some magical food that had no calories or no carbohydrates but just one gram of fat, do you have to count it had having eaten one calorie? Or can you eat 2000 calories which INCLUDES 300g carbs and 65g fat? Am I making sense? Say if not and I'll try to clarify.

Lately the weight loss process has begun to slow down and I've become impaitient. For about five days I've been crash dieting eating around 500 calories a day and light exercising(riding my bike about 20 mins a day). I do take a multivitamin daily. DINNER Small bowl of white rice Skinless, boneless cod fillet or chicken breast Vegetables e.g. spring onions, peas, carrots DRINKS Weak diluted cordial I'm about 5'3" and weigh 112 lbs. Thankfully I don't gain weight too easily, however my diet has been EXTREMELY poor recently. My clothes are starting to feel tighter, I have no energy and I'm always moody and depressed. So if i go on a vegetables/fruits diet for straight for 2 months, i wanna know what would happen?, would i lose mad weight, any difference to my face..like what would happen to my skin. I mean like major diet, just fruits, vegetables and grains, maybe fish. No junk food at all. I need to know if this diet will benefit me or not. 3 days ago - 4 days left to answer. Additional Details 3 days ago btw i weigh 110 lbs right now. i wanted to know if i get skinny, would that make me look taller? or still affect me? 3 days ago i dont want to end up looking anorexic. I want to go on this diet becuase i wanna detoxify my body internally, i have been eating a lot of junk food

healthy diet? i am fairly stocky and am hoping to lose my beer belly faily quick, i am dieting on veg pasta fish and rice, is this quick or is there a better diet to be on for results?
Healthy diet?? Ok, so im 15 (5ft 4inches) and i weigh 6 stone ... I DONT have any kind of eating disorder ...but...i am quite an unhealthy eater i only ever eat take away foods and junk food.. I have exams in June and find that im tired and sluggish all the time i cant concentrate properly and i think its down to my unhealthy diet... im not a fussy eater but basically i dislike anything thats good for me i only like cabbage and mash potatoe (veg) and strawberries(fruit) and i love orange juice if that counts?! but basically that the only fruit and veg i like! I really wanna change my diet but i stil wanto enjoy food?? any suggestions?? Right, im 18 and need to loose a little weight. i do enough exercise i just dont eat the right things. i need to know what exactly are the right things to eat, people please dont just say fruit and veg because im not stupid. i need specific things. also what is a good healthy "lunch box" as i never know exactly what i can put in my lunchbox for college and work which will stop me being hungry but is healthy! any ideas welcome, want specific foods rather than "fruit and veg" thankyou sooo much in advance :-) pink it would be really helpfull if you did have any good recipies, as that is something i have trouble with too, if you get a chance email some to me :-)
healthy diet? ok...starting yesterday, i've been eating healthy foods only...i feel a lot better b/c of this and have more energy, but i am definately a sweet addict...name any sweet and i can eat 10 times the amount of a normal person and not get a stomach ache...my question is...are there any sweets i can eat that are still kinda healthy, etc...and when is the best time of day to eat my sweets, and how often each week???? thank you.
HEaLthY DieT?!?!? Eggs only have 70 calories and 1 carb so could i eat 6 eggs perday, 2 per meal and with every meal a half can of some green vegetable? I am not the kind of girl who gets tired of certain foods especially if i am headed for something! :) This all should add up to about 1000 calories. I am 13 and weigh 155 and i am headed for about 55- 45 pounds down. plz tell me if this is a good diet!?! With about an hour of exersize of course. Plz just tell me if good or bad dont give me links or diet pill things! :)

Healthy diet?? my mom said when she was my age she lost weight by.. when she woke up she ate a bowl of special k that would fill her up and every half an hour she would eat one bite of something like a slice of orange and it would keep her full for the rest of the day is this a good diet she said she lost lots of weight you can eat whatever even cake and u would still loose weight! and she would stop eating an hour before bed time.

healthy diet? I want to start eating healthy but I don't really know where to start. Heres a sample of what I eat daily. Breakfast- cereal with whole milk, usually lucky charms or trix. Lunch- bagel with cream cheese, vitamin water, fries. Dinner- usually some kind of meat or fish, sometimes soup. I snack a lot during the day and its all junk food. What are some alternations to fries, pop tarts, vitamin water and other junk food that I can have to curb hunger? Also, I don't really drink that much water.
